KDF-55
Kinetic Degradation Fluxion (KDF) is a high-purity copper-zinc formulation that uses a redox (oxidation/reduction) reaction to remove chlorine, heavy metals such as lead, mercury and iron, as well as hydrogen sulfide from water supplies.
The process also has a mild anti-bacterial, algaecitic, and fungicidal effect and may reduce the accumulation of lime scale.
EWP can offer KDF-55 from the original supplier in the USA (patent has expired), or from another manufacturer.
