EWP offers Manganese Greensand and Manganese Dioxide for iron and manganese removal.  Both media have their strengths and weaknesses, and the choice between the two normally depends on the feedwater and contaminents to be removed.

Manganese Greensand requires regeneration using potassium permanganate.  Manganese Dioxide does not require regeneration but needs high backwash flow rates.
